ColdExt: Another ColdFusion wrapper for EXT

After blogging about Dan's great EXT cf wrapper, I ran across another one today: ColdExt.
It looks great as well, so how about Dan and Justin join efforts instead of doubling work...?

Hehe, thanks for the mention Rob! You're right, Dan and I probably should team up. Originally I started this project to use at work, but collaboration wouldn't have worked in the time frames I was constrained by... I shared some of my code with Dan before I ever released anything, but that's about as far as we got. However, fast forward 6 weeks and I'm now going on a working holiday around Europe (starting mid-April), so ColdExt will now be my pet project while on the road and in between jobs. Collaboration would definitely suit my circumstances much more now than it would have before :)

Hi,

I initially started playing with cfExt, but since have started tinkering with coldext. From what I can tell the coldext framework is further along in the development cycle, correct me if I am wrong. Being a CF developer with such weak graphic design and ui schools, I am eager to jump on something like this in terms of application development. I think many of us are.

Malik, thanks for your comments... I'm with you ... I tried jumping into using these extensions, but perhaps they're not ready will... I am really looking forward to see them mature. For now, I will keep using Ext natively as it was intended... but I've got to tell you, after playing with cfext I got spoiled... it's sooooo easy. C'mon Dan, let's release a nice stable 1.0 soon :)
