We previously blogged about ping.fm as the best solution for a mass status update, allowing you to micro-blog to every possible destination, and it is now open for public beta . Ping.fm’s greatest strength is its support of many different platforms and applications. You can use it through AIM, GTalk, iGoogle, Windows Live Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, WAP, iPhone, SMS or just plain e-mail.
